NOTES
Marcel Wanders uses familiar-looking materials in new and delightful designs. Resembling a hammock, his Knotted Chair is made of hi-tech rope moistened with epoxy and hung from a frame to harden. By synthesizing ancient hand-knotted macramé techniques with contemporary aerospace materials, Wanders created a new chair form that is light and durable.
