Bring the whole family to the Saint Louis Art Museum for art-inspired fun.

Family Sundays
You’re invited to the Museum every Sunday afternoon for hands-on art activities and a lively 30-minute family tour through the Galleries. Each month’s family activities focus on a different, family-friendly theme. Family Tour leaves at 2:30 pm.

Discover America
Celebrate the American Arts Experience with Family Sundays in October. Join us as we travel through America’s past, starting in ancient times and working our way up to modern art and design. Explore ancient American sculptures, early colonial design, and artwork made by Native and African American artists with a tour of the collection and art activities.

Patterns, Patterns Everywhere
The world is full of patterns and so is the Saint Louis Art Museum. From Egyptian mummy cases to contemporary paintings, artists have used patterns in their work for thousands of years. Spend time in the galleries learning how to spot patterns and then create your own with a fun make and take art activity each week.

Celebrate the beginning of the winter season with Family Sundays in December. Come in out of the cold for wintery art activities, family tours, and lots of special activities throughout the month.

Winter Celebration Weekend
Join the Saint Louis Art Museum as we host a three-day winter extravaganza that celebrates holiday traditions and cultures from around the world. Drop in for special performances, treats, and family art activities each day.

Enjoy an afternoon of culture, performance, and tradition during the Saint Louis Art Museum’s annual Kwanzaa celebration. Kwanzaa program sponsored in collaboration with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., St. Louis Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter.

Family Classes
Join us to look at and make amazing art—no experience necessary. Museum classes give young learners the opportunity to explore different cultures, time periods, and, of course, art!
