The Donald Danforth Jr. Gallery features late 19th century Art of the Great Plains. The strength of this new installation of the Native American collection is its thematic presentation of works of art. Signature objects which anchor each of the sections include groups of horse regalia, items made for children, and stunning quillwork by women. Additional theme areas feature an extraordinary collection of pipe bags, a painted hand drum, and a man's shirt.
