As a research center, the Richardson Memorial Library focuses on the art of the Saint Louis Art Museum while providing general information about art and art history of all periods.

During construction, the Library is open on Thursdays, by appointment only. Please make reservations 48 hours in advance. Library staff is available Monday–Friday to answer your questions by telephone (314.655.5252), fax (314.721.4911), or email (library@slam.org).
